Plans to convert a bungalow into a children's home in Cleveleys have been put forward to Wyre Council.

Plans for the children's home were lodged by Morvern Care Centre, which currently owns a care home on Cleveleys promenade.

The company wants to convert a two-bedroom bungalow on Coronation Road in the town into a children's home.

Documents accompanying the planning application outline that the company intends to employ eight full-time members of staff, but the number of children it intends to house is not specified.
