A MAN was defying a court order when he was found asleep in a bed at his girlfriend's home by police.
William Flynn, 39, of Regent Road, Blackpool, admitted breaching a restraining order when he appeared before Blackpool magistrates.

Jayne Barty, prosecuting, said Flynn was convicted of harassing girlfriend Leanne Young and was put on a restraining order which banned him from going within 500 metres of Ms Young's home.

On August 13 at 6am police found Flynn asleep in a bed there.

John McLaren, defending, said Ms Young had written to Flynn in jail after he was imprisoned for harassing her.

When there was a problem at the accommodation Flynn was staying at, he went to Ms Young's home with her agreement.

Flynn was put on 18 months supervision and ordered to pay £80 costs by Blackpool magistrates.
